Trees on roofs in New Belgrade, a giant pumpkin in Terazije and the Old Sava Bridge overgrown in greenery are images from a potential Belgrade of the future in the latest promotional clip that has delighted users of social networks.
The new ad campaign “Organic Food for All”, authored by the German agency Serviceplan and the Serbian production house Emote, promotes the German retailer Penny and shows the capital of Serbia as a fresh, organic and inspirational place with the help of visual effects.
– This is the most ambitious project we've ever filmed in Belgrade – producer Marija Markovic of Emote reveals.
– Credit goes to our team of scenographers, led by Sanela Spajic, as well as German scenographer Tommy Starck. We shouldn't forget the excellent organizational team that made it all possible.
Director Martin Aamund and Director of Photography Julian Hohndorf have already cooperated on several project involving mass scenes. In the new ad, one scene required over 400 background actors. The team consisted of 150 to 200 people each day.
A special curiosity is the appearance of German pop queen Nena and her biggest hit “99 Luftballons” in the ad.
– In the past ten years, we have put a lot of effort in the promotion of our locations and movie crews. Thanks to an incentive program, the number of foreign productions in Serbia has tripled in only a few years – says Milica Bozanic of the Serbian Film Association.
