The only hotel in Sombor will be sold by the end of the year. That is how its majority owner Bogdan Maglić, atomic physicist and a US citizen who was born in Sombor, who owns 60% of stocks of the hotel, decided. The other stockholder, Nataša Tiragić, the CEO of "InterNacion", who owns 15% of stocks, agreed with that decision.
- Bogdan Maglić has been thinking about selling that hotel for over a year. He has also determined the price of 1.1m EUR - says Nataša Tiragić. - I have accepted that, and minor stockholders have agreed as well. Maglić is willing to sell only the majority package of stocks of 51% at the price of 800,000 EUR if he and the future buyer reach such agreement. Tiragić added that Maglić had fulfilled all the obligations from the contract, but he had failed to turn the Sombor-based hotel into a congress and spa tourism center.
Maglić bought the only hotel in Sombor with 150 beds at the auction at the end of year 2004 for nearly 60m RSD. New owners were obliged to invest 30m RSD in the hotel, which they did.
