Documentation for reconstruction of Military Club in Pirot to be prepared – Building requires thorough adaptation

The preliminary project of the reconstruction of the Military Club in Pirot, now owned by the Town of Pirot, was approved in late 2018.

According to Assistant Mayor of Pirot Bojan Randjelovic, the project-technical documentation should be completed in the next two months, so that they could apply for proceeds from the Energy Efficiency Fund through the Ministry of Energy.

– The works planned include the treatment of the façade, the replacement of the joinery and the reconstruction of the roof – Randjelovic said.

The Military Club is located in the center of Pirot and is in a very bad condition. Five years ago, the Municipality of Pirot got the building from the Ministry of Defense in exchange for apartments for members of the Serbian military.

The building has an area of 3,000 square meters, is quite dilapidated and requires full adaptation. It should house numerous institutions and organizations.
