Education about introduction of HALAL standards on May 26 in Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade

Agricultural manufacturers, representatives of food industry, trade, catering and tourism have the opportunity to attend the education about introduction of HALAL standards, which are necessary for export of Serbian goods to the market of Islamic countries, on May 26, 2009.

The meeting will be organized at 11 AM in the Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade, and the introductory speeches will be held by Branislav Raketić from the Ministry of Agriculture, Mustafa Jusufspahić, the CEO of the Agency of HALAL quality certificate, and Zaki Šaltaf, who is in charge of HALAL certification.

The market of Islamic countries is, by the way, the quickest growing market in the world in both number of consumers and turnover. As such, it represents a great export opportunity for Belgrade's and Serbia's economy.
