Regional tourism conference in Belgrade - May 27-30

The first International Tourism Conference, which will gather representatives of 12 countries, will be held in Belgrade between May 27 and 30.
The aims of the conference, which is organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade, is creation of regional tourist products and growth of number of tourists in the Balkans.
The conference will last for three days, and the main theme of the conference will be the creation of an integrated regional tourist product.
The participants in the first tourism conference of the kind in southeast Europe, under the name of "Regional cooperation in tourism development", will be Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Albania, Moldova, Bulgaria and Greece.
These countries will be represented by ministers and state secretaries who are in charge of the economy and tourism sectors, as well as by the directors of the national tourism organizations.
The highest government representatives will present the measures introduced by the countries in the region with the aim of improving conditions for development of tourism, while the university professors will present the models for strategic development of unique tourism market in the region.
A declaration with the recommendations about the measures that should be introduced in order for the tourist economy of southeast Europe to be improved will be adopted at the end of the Conference.
