Belgrade to be promoted at international tourism fair in Stuttgart

The Tourism Organization of Belgrade is presenting the tourist offer of the capital of Serbia at the international tourism fair CMT 2019 in Stuttgart, one of the most important fairs in Germany, between January 12 and 20, 2019.

Visitors are most interested in active vacations, camping, cycling routes, natural areas and cultural and historical monuments in Belgrade and the country. Younger populace is primarily interested in city break trips, which include sightseeing, events, gastronomy and nightlife in Belgrade.

Tourists from Germany are the third most numerous group of tourists in Belgrade. The data for the January-November 2018 period show that the number of German guests is 17% higher than in the same period in 2017, whereas the number of registered overnight stays is higher by 18% (90,225).

Supported by the National Tourism Organization of Serbia, in addition to the Tourism Organization of Belgrade, the joint stand at the fair features the tourism organizations of Cacak, Novi Sad, Zlatibor, Vojvodina and the urban municipality of Savski Venac.
