Belgrade enterprise to procure new mechanization – PUE Beograd Put to buy new trucks

Deputy Mayor of Belgrade Goran Vesic has announced the procurement of new vehicles for the PUE Beograd Put.

– We have a total of 145 vehicles. In the past two years, we have bought 20 new trucks. The problem is that our vehicles are old – Vesic told RTS and added that certain trucks were over 20 years old.

As he pointed out, given the good state of Beograd Put as an enterprise and the city’s budget, the plan is for the entire mechanization to be replaced this year.

– We have already ordered 10 new large trucks and 5 small ones and we will replace the entire mechanization this year. We will lease another 51 trucks and meet the next season with a fully new mechanization. Once we have 90 operational small trucks, we will be able to clean first and second priority streets simultaneously – Vesic said.
