Support to local self-governments within Exchange 5 program – New EU project for Uzice

The Town of Uzice has been provided with funds for the project with which it recently applied, together with the Municipality of Bajina Basta and the Regional Development Agency Zlatibor, for the support to local self-government units within the Exchange 5 program, the town authorities say in a press release.

The total value of this project, which aims to contribute to the strengthening of the capacities of local self-governments in managing public property and providing public administration services to citizens and the economy, is around EUR 200,000, of which the EU is providing EUR 170,000, whereas the rest is provided by the Town of Uzice and the Municipality of Bajina Basta.

Upon the completion of the project, the Town of Uzice and the Municipality of Bajina Basta will have efficient systems of public property management in their territories.
