Extension of deadline for purchase of dossier on tender for "Župa"

- The deadline for purchase of tender dossier on the tender for privatization of Chemical Industry "Župa" has been extended until June 19th, and final bids will be received prior to July 10th - the Privatization Agency announced.

The deadline has been extended because nobody purchased the dossier, One company from Germany was interested, but its representatives have not showed up for negotiations yet - the Director General of Chemical Industry "Župa", Miroljub Milojević, told Beta agency.

This is the second extension of the deadline for purchase of dossier, that is, submission of bids, and the initial deadline for procurement of dossier was April 16th, while the second deadline was May 15th.

The Privatization Agency announced invitation for participation in the tender for sale of 446,188 stocks, that is, 70.34% of capital of "Župa" on February 23rd.

The previous tender was declared as unsuccessful in November 2008, and the company registered another unsuccessful tender and cancellation of the privatization contract.

According to Milojević's words, the company has no gas because of the debts, its consumption of electricity is limited, it has asked 2m EUR from the state to start production, and it currently sells pesticides.
