CEO of Privatization Agency submitted resignation

- The CEO of the Privatization Agency, Vesna Džinić, submitted her resignation today (May 14, 2009) – the Agency announced.

Ms. Džinić is currently on vacation and, as she explained in the letter to the Administrative Board of the Agency, she submitted resignation for personal reasons.

- The Administrative Board of the Agency should accept her resignation by the end of the week and, possibly, forward it to the founder – the Government of Serbia – said the people from the Agency and added that the resignation would be put in effect on the day it was received by the Government.

Vesna Džinić was appointed as the Acting Director fo the Agency in May 2007, and she became the CEO in October 2007.

She was the sixth Director General of the Agency, which was founded in 2001.
