Cane Subotić wants to buy Montenegrin newsstands

Serbian businessman Stanko Cane Subotić is interested in procurement of retail facilities of Tobacco Combine Podgorica (TCP), but he has not made the final decision yet. That information came from the source close to Subotić’s company Futura plus from Belgrade, which owns four companies for trade in cigarettes in Serbia - Duvan, Politika, Borba and Duvan promet.

There is only one more big company in Serbia that deals with retail trade in cigarettes - Štampa komerc, which used to be the property of Vanja Bokan who was killed in Athens few years ago. If Subotić buys TCP, he will cover entire territory of SCG with his retailing network.

The newsstands of TCP and sales sector will be separated into special company, Duvan Komerc, next month. It will be offered for sale at the beginning of the next year. Podgorica-based company Rokšped is interested in procurement of the newsstands.
