Kosovar Minister of Trade and Industry Endrit Shala proposed at the government's session the implementation of a charge of 100% on all products of foreign companies produced in central Serbia, including Coca-Cola.

He explained that nine international brands were produced in Serbia, which should be taxed as all other Serbian products, RTS reports.

As said, the proposal was opposed by minister Besim Beqaj of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, and the temporary prime minister of Kosovo institutions, Ramush Haradinaj, subsequently postponed the voting on the proposal until the next assembly.
