European Microfinance Center to organize conference in Belgrade between May 25 and 27

The annual conference of the Microfinance Center (MFC), which gathers members from 29 countries, will be organized in Belgrade between May 25 and 27.

According to the announcement, experts for microfinancing, bankers, investors, legislators and representatives of local authorities will examine the influence of the global crisis on microfinancing and discuss the methods for resolving of the problem at the meeting in Belgrade-based hotel "Continental".

- The themes of the three-day meeting will be: the influence of the crisis on the availability of financial services to the people with low incomes, the prevention of large debts, and innovations in microfinancing sector. The meeting will also include two plenary meetings where resolving of these problems will be discussed, as well as a series of workshops on microfinancing at the time of the crisis and crediting of micro enterprises – MFC announced
