"Morgan Stanley" in Komercijalna Banka

All those who doubted last year’s announcements of “Morgan Stanley” that it would invest in Serbian stocks were wrong because that US investment bank was the largest buyer of stocks of Komercijalna Bank few days ago. Of total of 6,000 traded stocks, "Morgan Stanley" bought 2,900 stocks (0.33% of ownership) of the bank for about 50m RSD.

The reasons why large investors entered Komercijalna Banka are completely reasonable: it is a popular financial sector, the bank is backed by the state and, finally, these stocks have favorable price.

The value of KB on the Stock Exchange, of which stock costs about 22,000 RSD, amounts to about 20 billion RSD, while its value was six times larger two years ago – said the experts from the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
