"Vigado" project – attractive opportunity for investment in tourism sector in Kanjiža

The Development Center of the Pirot region has recently offered the building of catering company “Vigado”, situated in the vicinity of spa resort in Kanjiža, for rent. The facility, which was built in 1893, requires thorough restauration and reconstruction, and it is under the protection of the state as a monument of culture.

Kanjiža is in the north of Serbia, at the very border with Hungary. Corridor 10 (E-75) and the Tisa river are passing through the municipality, and that region, with total of 150,000 inhabitants, is half way between Belgrade and Budapest. There is a long-time tradition of spa tourism in Kanjiža, and the building of spa resort is the most famous feature of the town. The facility is situated in the park that is maintained on regular basis and represents a meeting place for both visitors and local population. The spa complex encompasses three hotels with four stars, and the territory it covers is being expanded at the moment.
