Delegation of Iran to visit "Petrohemija" in Pančevo

- The business delegation of Iran will visit Pančevo-based "Petrohemija" today (May 5, 2009) in the afternoon to examine the possibility of strategic partnership – said Vesna Arsić, the State Secretary for International Economic Relations of Serbia.

She said to the press at the Business Forum Serbia-Iran that "the door is open for all potential partners of ‘Petrohemija’, including Iranians".

Arsić reminded that Iran had oil and that it needed partners to sell it, and that the establishment of strategic cooperation in the domain of petrochemistry was, therefore, possible.

- Last year Iran produced 50m tons of petrochemical products – said Mehdi Gazanfari, the Deputy Minister of Trade of Iran.
