"Gazprom" to invest 118m EUR in NIS in 2009

Russian "Gazpromneft" will invest 118m EUR in modernization and reconstruction of NIS within the scope of realization of the investment programme for this year.

The Administrative Board has made the decision that NIS should receive more than 20m EUR this month for reconstruction of refineries and realization of environmental projects.

The President of the Administrative Board of NIS, Dmitrij Mališev, said on that occasion that the operational appropriation of funds for realization of the investment programme confirmed that "Gazpromneft" was fulfilling its obligations from the contract on sale of 51% of stocks of NIS.
