RADOJICIC: Around RSD 250 million for lighting for New Year holidays

Mayor of Belgrade Zoran Radojicic has stated that the value of the public procurement of city street decorative lighting equipment is “slightly under RSD 250 million, without VAT”.

He announced in Blic that, beginning with 2019, sensors and cameras will be installed on traffic lights in Belgrade, in order to address the traffic jam problem in the city.

– Sensors and cameras will send information about traffic jams to the central, which will modify the duration of green lights in critical spots. The aim is to secure more “green waves” – the mayor said.
