"Gazprom" to export about 30,000 tons of derivatives through Port "Bar" every month

The Executive Director of Port "Bar", Slobodan Pajović, announced that Russian "Gazprom", the new owner of the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS), was thinking about exporting significant quantity of oil derivatives through Port "Bar".
- NIS announces that about 30,000 tons of derivatives would be exported to Africa and Asia through the Port every month, so that the Government should take more active part in the coordination of activities between the commercial subjects whose majority owner is the state - Pajović told Podgorica’s "Pobjeda".
He invited the entire “logistics” in that field, that is, road and railway transportation companies, the Maritime Security Agency, freight-forwarders, agents, customs, policemen, public utility companies and cargo control service “to behave accordingly in order for Montenegro not to lose that significant job, especially in the current business circumstances”.
- We would appear in the market in unique and more efficient way because it is the only solution for reduction of negative effects of the crisis on Montenegrin economy – said Pajović.
According to his words, the data from the first four months of this year show that the crisis hit not only Port, but also the complete economy of Montenegro.
Reloading works in Port "Bar" in that period were reduced by 25% against the same period last year.
