International Monetary Fund warned that Kosovo is threatened by bankruptcy due to too big budget expenses in December 2004. Temporary Government of Kosovo spent about € 160m in December and entered the year 2005 with only € 60m.
The budget of Kosovo for the year 2005 amounts to about € 625m. International financial institutions promised to provide about 15% of the budget.
