- Company "Alpine" has offered 700,000 EUR per kilometer for construction of 20 kilometers of Corridor 10 between Horgoš and Novi Sad, for which the tender has been announced - the source from the Government of Serbia told "Blic".

Although the most favorable bid amounted to about 600,000 EUR per kilometer, the offer of "Alpine" is interesting because this company’s offer in the concession contract for Horgoš-Požega highway, which was cancelled some time ago and the Government has not managed to collect related guarantees yet, amounted to 2.2m EUR.

Although one of the explanations for such significant difference in prices is that the works on lowland section require smaller investments than the works on other parts of the highway, the Government was surprised with the offer of "Alpine" and they are now seriously suspecting that someone in the previous Government abused his position when it comes to the concession contract.
