- Due to insolvency, Belgrade-based building company "Intermost" has filed for bankruptcy - the Acting President of the Commercial Court in Belgrade, Stevo Đuranović, told Beta.

Đuranović said that one of the reasons that "Intermost" had given was its inability to pay the debts to creditors.

- The company's accounts do not need to be frozen in order for the company to file for bankruptcy - he explained.

"Intermost" is a part of French "Vinci" group, and it worked on realization of large infrastructural projects in Serbia, mainly on construction and refurbishment of bridges. It has about 300 workers.

The representatives of that company said earlier that the state's debt to the company amounted to about 1 billion RSD.
