German company RWE interested in investments in Vojvodina

The President of the Executive Council of Vojvodina, Dr. Bojan Pajtić, had the meeting yesterday (April 28th, 2009) with Wolfram Mas, the Ambassador of Germany to Serbia, Mihael Glos, a member of Bundestag and former Minister of Economy of Federal Republic of Germany, and Dr. Tomas Klopfer from company RWE. They talked about economic cooperation between Vojvodina and the companies and investors from Germany, which is, traditionally, one of the most significant partners of Vojvodina and Serbia.

- Germany and Austria are leading investors in Vojvodina and we find the further improvement of our relations extremely significant, especially when it comes to the companies that, as our partners from Germany, enjoy great reputation. The Executive Council is doing its best to make Vojvodina the territory suitable for investments, thanks to the measures implemented by the Provincial Government, in order to maintain the favorable climate for investments even at the time of the economic crisis.
