EBRD to additionally capitalize "Victoria Group" with 40m EUR

"Victoria Group" and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) signed 40m EUR worth of contract today (April 28, 2009) for additional capitalization of that company. In that way, EBRD will get the share of 24% in the company’s capital.

- The funds from additional capitalization will be spent on enlargement of the capital funds, the company’s stability and development of new markets - Nikola Vujačić, the Director General of "Victoria Group", said after he signed aforementioned contract.

"Victoria group" comprises the following eight companies: "Sojaprotein" from Bečej, "Victoria oil" from Šid, Veterinarian Institute from Subotica, "Fertil" from Bačka Palanka, Port of Bačka Palanka, SP Laboratory in Bečej, "Victoria logistic" Novi Sad and "Victoria fosfati" Bosilegrad.

"Victoria Group" has 1,500 employees, and its partners are about 40,000 households and over 500 collectives and cooperatives.
