Court to sell three companies in Bačka Palanka - "Marina", "Dunav" and "Izbor"

The procedure for sale of the remaining facilities of Palanka-based “Marina”, Čelarevo’s "Dunav" and Department Store “Izbor” in the city’s downtown is underway in the Municipal court in Bačka Palanka.

The remaining production halls and business premises of once famous textile combine “Dunav”, which had about 1,500 workers at the beginning of the last decade of the 20th century, will be offered for sale through the court.

The sale is scheduled for Wednesday (April 29, 2009), and the starting price is 54m RSD.

The remaining share of the property of once famous textile factory "Marina" in Bačka Palanka will be offered for sale on May 20th, and the starting price will be 20m RSD. The subject of the sale will be a part of the production hall, a warehouse, the facility of a boiler room, a wash room and a workshop. Part of this factory was bought earlier by neighboring company "Tarkett".

The court sale of Department Store "Izbor" in the downtown of Bačka Palanka has not been scheduled yet, but, unofficially, the third auction for sale of this facility will be, most probably, held in June 2009.

The second appearance was held this year and there were no interested buyers. The starting price this time amounts to 130m RSD and, according to the expert estimates, if the buyer is found for this exceptionally attractive space, the debts to creditors and workers will be paid.
