Tender for Electric Power Company of Montenegro extended until June 1st

The Tender Committee for partial additional capitalization of the Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG) has extended the deadline for submission of bids until June 1st, 2009.

The Committee announced that some of the companies that had qualified for participation in the tender had asked for extension of the deadline in order to carry out certain internal procedures related to completion of the bids.

So far, the tender dossier has been bought by five companies – Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS), Norwegian NTE, Russian Inter Rao UES and Italian companies Edison and A2A.

The 15-day extension of the deadline was suggested by EPS, while Italian companies asked for additional month to get the bids ready.
