Artur Demek – new President of Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Serbia

Artur Demek, the correspondent of Japanese newspaper “Asahi Shimbun”, has been appointed as the new President of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Serbia.

According to the announcement, the people at the meeting of the Chamber estimated that the year 2009 would be very significant for improvement of economic relations between the two countries and they acclaimed the announcement of investment of Japanese Asahi Breweries Group in Senta-based factory "Alltech Fermin".

Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Serbia was founded in 2007 in order to work on promotion of cooperation between the economies of the two countries. The companies members are, among the rest, "Mitsubishi", "Toyota", "Mitsui" "KonTiki travel", "Zadrugar" and ITM.
