Gorenje arrives to Chinese market – Entire range of products to be available in 1Q 2019

This Monday, November 5, 2018, Gorenje started selling its home appliances in China, only several months after the acquisition by China's Hisense.

– Gorenje home appliances will now be available in select stores in China and the network will expand to new distributors by the end of the year. The company plans to make all its products available in most stores in the first quarter of 2019 – the company announced, as reported by the Slovenian agency STA.

– The entrance to the Chinese market is a remarkable opportunity for the growth and the strengthening of our global presence, although this market is remarkably competitive and demanding – said Franjo Bobinac, CEO of Gorenje.

In Slovenia, Gorenje is best known for its refrigerators and washing machines, and they recently announced the beginning of the production of TV sets in Velenje.
