Miroslav Kralik, law firm "Kralik and Partners" – talented Juris Doctor

- I was born in Vojvodina, in Kovačica, where the famous school of naive painting originates from. Unfortunately or luckily, I was born without the gift for “painting” and “naivety”. I started to search my talent in completely different ambience – in law - Miroslav Kralik, the Juris Doctor, the President of Slovakian-Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the owner of law firm "Kralik and Partners" and "English School" said in the interview for eKapija.

Following his graduation from the Law School in Novi Sad and his short trip to journalism (he worked as the editor of foreign column in TV Novi Sad), he enrolled in Law Faculty at Karlo’s University in Prague to do postgraduate studies. He earned the title of Juris Doctor at the Department of Private Law by defending his thesis "Trading Companies".

"Kralik and Partners"

- After the peaceful dissolution of Czechoslovakia, I worked in the Ministry of Justice of Slovakia for some time on adaptation of European commercial law for Slovakian legal system, and then I moved to banking sector to work with securities. After that, about 10 years ago, I founded international law firm "Kralik and Partners", which provides legal and investment consulting services to the companies on the territory of Slovakia and Czech Republic, as well as on the territory of Western Balkans and, primarily, Serbia.

Nowadays, law firm "Kralik and Partners", with the headquarters in Bratislava and branch offices in Prague and Belgrade, is one of the largest legal offices that practise commercial law on the territory of Central Europe and Western Balkans..

English School

- One of the joint characteristics of Serbian and Slovakian business milieus is relatively poor knowledge of foreign languages, including the most popular – English language. Slovakians more freely admit this fact because English language was thaught in fewer schools in Slovakia than in Serbia, while most Serbs are of the opinion that they can write in their CVs that their English is fluent just because they had mandatory English language classes in primary and secondary school, but at the first serious business meeting with foreign clients, the situation often gets more comical than business-like.

Kralik says that the simplest way for him to improve his English was to found his own English language school.

Today, “English School", the largest English language school in Bratislava, organizes not only General English language course, but also specialized English language courses such as Business English, Accounting English and Legal English.

Life philosophy, hmm....

In order for someone to become successful in business, he or she does not need to be born genius, but to strive for success – every single day!

This is the thought I like and often repeat to myself, but then I also ask myself a question: What does success in business actually mean?... and that is much more difficult question. All of us should probably find the answer to it by ourselves.
