Strategic partnership between "Jat" and MAT – agreement on intentions signed

Serbian air transportation company "Jat Airways" and Macedonian Air Transportation (MAT) have signed the agreement on intentions today (April 9, 2009) and started negotiations about strategic partnership.

- The legal-financial team of "Jat" will visit Skopje on Tuesday (April 14, 2009) to estimate conditions in Macedonian airliner - Saša Vlaisavljević, the Acting Director General of “Jat”, said following the signing of the agreement.

Vlaisavljević said that that team would estimate MAT’s debts towards Serbian airliner, and it should also determine the form of strategic partnership, and he added that everything would be finished in 15 days, while concrete agreement should be signed before the summer.

The President of the Administrative Board of MAT, Zlatko Petrovski, said that the signed agreement included commercial cooperation, maintenance of MAT airplanes in "Jat tehnika", education and exchange of fleet.
