Free Internet in Belgrade - "ZoviMe" to introduce first "Motorola WiFi Mesh" network in Serbia

Company "ZoviMe" has made it possible for the citizens of Belgrade to try the first "Motorola WiFi Mesh" network in Serbia within the next 30 days. For the time being, free Internet will be available at Terazije and Nikole Pašića Square in Belgrade.

- There will be about hundred "Motorola MotoMeshDuo" base stations in Belgrade’s center by June, so that the surface covered by "WiFi" will be constantly growing. In this way, Belgrade will become the first capital city with this type of telecommunication system in the Balkans – said Zoran Marković, the owner of company "ZoviMe".

Expansion of network in other cities of Serbia is underway, and people from the company have invited all interested local Internet providers to join the development of this system.

- Company "ZoviMe" plans to open a call center in order to employ significant number of people with disabilities and to enable them join the everyday life of the community – Zoran Marković explained.

The advantages and benefits of introduction and application of such system are numerous: constant video surveillance by agencies for public security in the city and surroundings, as well as local control and monitoring of selected locations, such as schools and other public institutions. Wireless networking of all public and government services in internal and external working environment, speed and efficiency in work of public and public utility agencies, as well as broad wireless internet coverage and availability to civilians, are only some of the advantages of this technology.
