Chance for survival of railway car factory – Subotica’s "Bratstvo" negotiates about takeover

Following the meeting between the owner of "Bratstvo", Vladimir Delić, and the owner of Belgrade-based company "Metalex", Žika Radivojević, which was backed by Saša Vučinić, the Mayor of Subotica, the future of the Subotica-based railway car factory may be saved.
Namely, about 300 employees are still on strike, which lasts for more than one month, because they have not received any salary since October and because the production has been discontinued.
Owner Vladimir Delić has been trying to find a buyer for a long time and, according to the people from the trade union of "Bratstvo", if the banks approve the loan to Žika Radivojević, he is willing to enter the deal, that is, to buy "Bratstvo" and restart production.
That also means that the workers will receive their late salaries, and that the semi-finished products will be provided for production because "Metalex" is the company that deals with trade in metal and materials for production of railway cars, and it has already cooperated with "Bratstvo" before.
