Tender announced for construction of road section on "Corridor 10"

- Public invitation for construction of 20 kilometers of left side of Horgoš - Novi Sad highway was announced on April 3rd, 2009, in the Official Bulletin – the Ministry of Infrastructure of Serbia announced.

- The commencement of works is scheduled for the beginning of May, while these two sections on “Corridor 10” should be put in operation around November 29th – said the Minister of Infrastructure, Milutin Mrkonjić, when he visited the building site of the new bridge near Beška.

The open competition for elaboration of the main project for construction of 20 kilometers of road on Horgoš - Novi Sad highway was announced on March 25th, the deadline for submission of bids expired on April 1st, while the contractor should be selected prior to April 9th.

The highway section on traffic "Corridor 10" between Novi Sad and Horgoš is 106 km long.

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Mrkonjić said that the works on Preševo-Levosoj highway would be finished at the beginning of July 2009.

The projected investments in construction of roads on “Corridor 10” through Serbia in 2009 amount to 472m EUR.
