Draško Veselinovič – new President of Administrative Board of NLB Bank in Serbia

NLB Bank in Serbia, the branch office of Slovenian financial group, announced yesterday (April 2, 2009) that the Assembly of stockholders of that bank had appointed Draško Veselinovič as the new President of the Administrative Board.

Veselinovič is, also, the President of the Management of NLB Bank Ljubljana and, according to the announcement, his appointment in the bank in Belgrade speaks enough of the interest of that banking group in Serbian market.

- We plan to double the market share in Serbia in few years, from current 3 or 4 to about 7 or 8% - Veselinovič said after the appointment.

NLB Group is the largest Slovenian international financial group, which operates in 18 markets and employs 9,435 people.

NLB Group comprises 12 banks, 11 leasing companies, 12 companies for international financial transactions, 5 insurance companies, a property management company and another 15 enterprises.
