Construction of BK Tesla Park in Kazakhstan begins

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kazakh Prime Minister Bakhytzhan Sagintayev laid the capsule marking the beginning of the project of the construction of the residential complex BK Tesla Park in Astana.

They visited the location where this modern residential complex, named after one of the most prominent Serbs, is to be built.

The future look of the new residential complex in Astana, a city which has grown into a major world city in the past 20 years, was shown through pictures.

It was estimated that this project of a multifunctional residential facility would contribute to the further strengthening of the two countries', but also the two peoples', connections.

This June, Astana celebrated its 20th anniversary. Before 1998, it was a small place named Tselinograd.

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev had a vision of turning this town into the country's capital with modern buildings.

Before 1997, around 200,000 people lived in the Astana area, and the city now has around a million residents and is constantly growing.
