NIS announced 118m EUR worth of investments in 2009

- Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) will invest 68m EUR in refineries and 50m EUR in environment protection projects in 2009 – the representatives of NIS Petrol announced today (April 1st, 2009).

- These investments will be realized regardless of the last year’s losses – the representatives of this company said at the press conference at the Automobile Show in Belgrade.

The investment in construction of new refining capacities will be completed prior to 2012 and it will enable production fuel according to Euro 5 standard.
