"Smart fortwo" - "Mercedes Benz" started sale of its latest model in market of Serbia

Company "Mercedes-Benz SCG" has started sale and servicing of the latest "smart" named "smart fortwo". This automobile is unique in its class because it has only two seats, it is the world’s shortest automobile and has the smallest diameter of U-turn. "Smart fortwo" is only 2.69 meters long, while its width and height are the same and amount to 1.5 m. It consumes 3.3 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.

There is another thing that makes "Smart fortwo" unique – it is the car with the lowest emission of exhaust gases – only 88g per cubic kilometer.

- This unique "Daimler" vehicle proves, once again, that the size reduction has everything to do with intelligence and nothing to do with compromise. New "smart fortwo" sets standards in its class in the domain of comfort, ease of steering, security and environment protection – it is stated in the company’s announcement.

The starting price for model "Pure", equipped with gasoline engine of 45 kW, is 9,990 EUR.

On the occasion of introduction of new brand to the market and the beginning of International Automobile Show in Belgrade, company "Mercedes-Benz SCG" has organized the event under slogan "smart meets Srbia“ and invited colleagues and journalists from Italy and Greece to visit Belgrade.

The media and representatives of "Mercedes-Benz" from the most successful markets in the world, when it comes to brand "smart", have arrived in "smart" vehicles from Bologna and Salonika to meet the colleagues in Belgrade. Italy represents a benchmark, while Greece is the country with the largest market growth of this brand.
