Contract for "Južni tok" to be signed in April in Plovdiv – meeting held between Aleksandar Medvedev and Petar Škundrić

Aleksandar Medvedev, the Director of “Gazprom Export”, and Petar Škundrić, the Minister of Energy of Serbia, agreed at the meeting that the contract for realization of project "Južni tok" should be signed in Bulgarian city of Plovdiv at the end of April, in the presence of the countries’ highest officials. They also agreed that the negotiations about joint completion of the gas storage in Banatski Dvor should be intensified in the following period.

Minister Škundrić has received the high delegation of company "Gazprom" led by Aleksandar Medvedev who is also the Deputy Director of company "Gazprom".

On that occasion, the delegation of “Gazprom” represented the projects that the company planned to implement in Serbia. Russian side, once again, confirmed its dedication to the realization of project "Južni tok", which should ensure long-term and stable supply of natural gas to Serbia and the region.
