Representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Government of Serbia are discussing the reform of the Roads of Serbia, and the proposition is for this public enterprise to be split into three units, Politika writes in today’s issue. One of the companies would be in charge of the highways, one would deal with regional roads, and one would be responsible for state roads.

As reported, the proposition is for the Roads of Serbia to have three executive directors in the future, but also for administrative and legal affairs to be separated.

The reform of the Roads of Serbia is being carried out in cooperation with the World Bank.

The IMF Mission is visiting Belgrade in order to consider the results of the new program of macroeconomic and structural reforms approved this summer for a period of 30 months.
