Italian producer of small house appliances interested in investments in Leskovac

Mayor of Leskovac Goran Cvetanovic has announced the arrival of a new Italian investor to the town on the Veternica and invited unemployed engineers and technicians to apply for job interviews planned for the first week of October.

Cvetanovic didn’t specify the name of the company. He only said that it was a factory of small house appliances, that they already had their own facilities in Romania and that they were looking to employ over 2,000 people in Leskovac.

– Last week, they visited me in my cabinet for a conversation, without the presence of the media, and I’ve already had contact with our ambassador in Italy, who told me about their impressions of Leskovac – the mayor pointed out and added that they were looking for 35 engineers, twice as many technicians and other workers with vocational education.
