New program of retraining for IT sector – Training for 775 unemployed and 500 employed persons to start

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, that the retraining for the IT sector for 800 people in Serbia has been finished and that the National Employment Service will start a retraining program for 775 unemployed on October 1.

In the next two months, a retraining program will begin for another 500 people, who are unemployed, but want to change the profession and try their hand at programming, where, she says, there's a deficit of workforce and where they see a more secure and interesting future for themselves.

– By the end of the year, we will have retrained over 2,000 people – Brnabic told the press at the Patrijarh Pavle Gymnasium, where she attended a public class at the IT department.
