"Delta maxi" opened second supermarket in Plovdiv

Company "Delta maxi" has opened the second "Piccadilly" supermarket in Plovdiv in Bulgaria, in which about 3m EUR has been invested.

The new supermarket is situated in the first trade center in the city - "Mol Plovdiv", it occupies the surface of 2,800 square meters and has 17,000 high-quality products in its offer.

- This is the second facility we have opened in Plovdiv in only 45 days. We plan to open another supermarket in shopping mall “Galerija Plovdiv” in 2009, and then we will have 10,000 square meters of retail space, which makes us the leader in that region – said the CEO of "Piccadilly", Aleksandar Čamparević.

- We will resume expansion of the retail network in Plovdiv until we have total of six facilities opened prior to year 2011 – he added.

For the sake of stimulation of young and educated people in Plovdiv, "Piccadilly" has prepared scholarship for the best student at the University of Food Technologies.
