Second Interex hypermarket opened in Serbia, in Niš – 4,000 square meters, investment worth €5m

French Intermarche/Interex continues to invest in Serbia. After the first hypermarket, which operates successfully in Čačak, the new trade center was opened in Niš on September 8. The Frenchmen invested €5m in this facility, which offers 15,000 articles on space of 4,000 square meters (2500 square meters of selling space and 1,500 square meters of warehouse). Interex in Čačak employed 75 young citizens of Niš.
French Intermarche continues with its policy, which implies that the domestic products should be the most important in the offer, so that only 10% of goods will be imported.
There are also 350 parking places in front of the hypermarket whose slogan is "Niš’s prices - low !"
In order to illustrate the importance of this facility, it should be mentioned that the opening was attended by the president of Interex group, Mr. Hellio. Of course, there were also representatives of the City and the authorities of the Nišava region.
The citizens of Niš showed great interest in new services in the City, so that there were big crowds on the first day, accompanied by shortage of baskets... which is perfectly normal on the opening day.
