More than 1,200 new jobs – trade center "Ušće" to be opened on March 31st

- Trade center "Ušće" in New Belgrade, in which 150m EUR has been invested, will be opened on March 31st – the representatives of company "MPC Properties" announced.

The Executive Director of "MPC Properties", Robert Švajcer, said to the press that the trade center at about 130,000 square meters would create jobs for 1,200 people.

The new trade center will encompass 143 outlets, supermarket, fast food restaurant, multiplex cinema with 11 halls, bawling room and playhouses at four levels. There will also be a garage with 1,300 parking places.

Švajcer said that all outlets in currently the largest trade center in Serbia had been rented out, and that about one third of tenants would introduce new brands in Serbian market.

Construction of the trade center was financed by EFG Eurobank, National Bank of Greece, Piraeus Bank and UniCredit Bank, while the retail space will be managed by German company ECE. As it was explained at the press conference, the project for organization of interior, exterior and the space around the center was elaborated by architectural studio "Chapman Taylor".

Švajcer said that the designing of the feasibility study for construction of twin tower of the existing 25-floor business building within the scope of business complex "Ušće" would follow the completion of the trade center.

- Construction works are not going to start before year 2010 – said he.
