Touring exhibition of Gustav Klimt's paintings to be held on September 12 – 24, 2018 in Novi Sad

The Austrian Cultural Forum in Belgrade will mark the 100th anniversary of death of the Austrian painter Gustav Klimt with the touring exhibition titled Gustav Klimt: Forerunner of Modernism, the University of Novi Sad announced.

The exhibition consists of 15 forex panels with captions in Serbian and numerous oil painting reproductions and documentary photography and is being organized in cooperation with the University of Novi Sad. The exhibition is set in the Exhibition Pavilion of the Central building (Rectorate) of the University of Novi Sad and lasts from September 12 to September 24, 2018.

Director Of The Austrian Cultural Forum, Johannes Irschik and the Vice-rector for education in the University of Novi Sad, Biljana Abramovic, PhD will address the attendees on the opening ceremony on September 12, 2018. Austrian Cultural Forum has organized the screening of the movie on Gustav Klimt scheduled for the same date at 6 p.m in Matica Srpska Gallery.

Frikom company provided sponsorship for the Austrian Cultural Forum's exhibition. They will organize the tasting event for the new family ice cream inspired by the Klimt's painting The Kiss for all visitors during the opening ceremony and the next two days.
