Office for local economic development opened in Sokobanja

The Ministry of Economy and Regional Development of Serbia has announced that the Office for local economic development has been opened today (March 17, 2009) in Sokobanja.

According to the announcement, the aim of that office is to increase the chances for the arrival of foreign investors and to strengthen the economic potentials of Sokobanja.

- The Office will present the place where contacts are established between small and mid-sized enterprises from Sokobanja and potential investors. The entrepreneurs will be provided with clear and timely information on the advantages of investments in the municipality, while the entrepreneurs will get support for undisturbed functioning and overcoming of possible administrative obstacles – it is stated in the announcement.

The municipal Office for local economic development has been opened in the presence of Wolfram Mass, the Ambassador of Germany to Belgrade, and Dejan Jovanović, the State Secretary for Regional Development in the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development.
