Tender for introduction of fixed wireless telephony (CDMA) in Serbia in about ten days

- International public invitation for introduction of fixed wireless telephony CDME in Serbia will be announced in about ten days - the President of the Administrative Board of the Republic Telecommunications Agency, Jovan Radunović, announced.

At the meeting on Internet economy, Radunović said to the press that he expected that the licenses for introduction of CDMA technology would be issued until summer. This technology is suitable for rural areas that are not connected to the fixed telephony network.

The Minister of Telecommunications of Serbia, Jasna Matić, said that the public invitation for arrival of new fixed telephony operators in Serbia would be announced prior to June.
