Novi Sad-based "LBB Frigo" builds cold storage plant and fish-processing unit in Apatin

Construction of a cold storage plant and a production unit for frozen river and sea fish is underway in Apatin.

The investor, Novi Sad-based company "LBB Frigo", is going to employ about 20 workers in these units, and the works should be completed at the beginning of May.

- The value of the investment is about 500,000 EUR, and the production unit and the cold storage plant, with the capacity of about 800 tons, will be equipped with the up-to-date technology. The funds are provided from the loan approved by the Development Fund of Vojvodina, while the building land at 5,500 square meters was procured from the Municipality of Apatin under very favorable terms - Dragan Počuča, the Director of business unit of "LBB Frigo" in Apatin, explained.
