German Nordcuker and MK Commerce signed letter of intent for establishing of expert cooperation

Traditional meeting of manufacturers and sugar beet proccessing companies, on the occasion of the forthcoming campaign in Vrbas-based sugar plant Bačka, was attended by the representatives of German Nordcuker, one of the biggest manufacturers of sugar in Europe. Vrbas-based sugar factory is one of four factories in the makeup of MK Group. This event confirmed numerous speculations related to identity of strategic partner of MK Commerce in sugar industry.

Coordinator of sector for raw materials in MK GRoup, Miloš Jelić, announced that MK Commerce had signed letter of intent with company Nordcuker. The letter is the document on establishment of expert cooperation between the two companies. The further details have not been revealed.

Gerd Jung, the main manager of the Production Sector in Nordcuker, confirmed that the negotiations on partnership were underway, but their end was not near. The experts of Nordcuker will apply their knowledge and experience in order to maximally back the forthcoming campaign. Jung pointed out that German company was very interested in more serious investment in sugar plants owned by MK group.
