NIS announced tender for procurement of 1m tons of crude oil

Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) has announced the tender today (March 11, 2009) for procurement of 1m tons of crude oil in the period April-December 2009.

According to the company's announcement, collecting of commercial bids will last for two weeks, and the results will be announced on March 25th when the current oil delivery contracts expire.

It is added that the procurement of 1m tons of crude oil of type REBCO is intended for satisfaction of needs for production of oil derivatives in the company's refineries.

According to the announcement, the Director General of NIS, Kiril Kravčenko, said that that company planned to expand the circle of suppliers within the scope of the tender, as well as to provide equal starting terms for all participants.
